by the numbers

1. today is one of those sparkly, after-the-rain days, where every line is a little more distinct, every tree a little more hopeful. yay spring.

2. my roomate is a peer-leader (translation: she is the student teacher in a freshman orientation class) and she is supposed to talk about family today, so to illustrate, she invited me to come in. yay urban family (if cleveland can be considered urban...)

3. I bought a Monet print from this lovely woman who teaches classes for senior citizens that instructs them in writing their memoirs. there are tons of good writing tips on her website Seniors Writing she says: Journaling is a way of looking and listening and grappling with yourself and your life. It is a way of paying attention to and keeping current with yourself by reflecting on the bits and pieces of value and meaning in the midst of seeming chaos. Yay Julien!

4. I start Camus' L'Etrangère tonite. yay absurdity!
